Audio Tools

8 tools available

Free online audio utilities — convert, trim, merge, compress, normalize, change speed, reduce noise. All run locally via FFmpeg WASM.

Audio tools cover the everyday work of converting, trimming, and cleaning up sound files without ever uploading them to a third-party service. The category brings together 8+ utilities that use FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly under the hood — the same engine that powers professional audio editors, running directly inside your browser. Drop in an MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC, AAC or Opus file and the conversion, trim, or filter happens locally on your machine. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is logged, and you don't need an account.

The collection includes a universal audio converter (any → MP3 / WAV / OGG / M4A / FLAC / AAC / Opus with bitrate control), a precise trimmer that accepts hh:mm:ss timecodes, a merger for concatenating multiple files into one, a compressor with bitrate / sample-rate / channel control, a volume tool that handles both manual gain and automatic EBU R128 normalization (the broadcast loudness standard Spotify and YouTube target), a speed changer with pitch preservation (atempo filter), a reverse-audio tool for boomerang and creative edits, and a noise reducer powered by FFmpeg's afftdn FFT-based denoiser with optional high-pass filtering for podcast and voiceover cleanup. The first conversion is slower because FFmpeg WASM has to download (~30 MB) and warm up, but every subsequent operation runs near-native speed on your CPU.
