The PDF is image-based (a scan, not text). Run an OCR tool first (Adobe Acrobat OCR, Tesseract, or an online OCR) to extract text from the images, then convert.

Line breaks happen mid-sentence.

PDF text positioning sometimes splits sentences across "lines" that match the visual layout, not paragraphs. Manually clean up after pasting into Word.

Tables came out as plain text.

PDF tables are not structured — they're positioned rectangles of text. Use a dedicated PDF-to-Excel tool to get rows and columns, or rebuild tables manually in Word.
