Troubleshooting

Subject is off-centre after crop: Use the "smart-centre" toggle to auto-detect face/person and re-anchor the crop on them, instead of always using the geometric centre.
Output is the same size as the source: Pixel coordinates may have defaulted to full frame. Drag the corners inward, or pick an aspect-ratio preset.
Aspect ratio looks distorted: Crop never stretches — it only removes pixels. If video looks squished, the source has non-square pixel aspect ratio; enable "fix PAR" before cropping.
