Troubleshooting
- Screenshot is darker than the playing video
- Player applied HDR-to-SDR conversion that the snapshot didn't. Enable "match player rendering" so the snapshot matches what you see in the player.
- Got a blurry / motion-blur frame
- Nudge the timeline ±1 frame for the cleanest neighbouring frame. Use the dedicated frame-extractor tool for finer control.
- Screenshot file is huge as PNG
- Switch to JPG quality 95 — same apparent quality, ~10% the size. PNG is only essential for screenshots with sharp UI / text edges.
