What is PDF to PowerPoint Converter?
Convert a PDF into a PowerPoint deck — one slide per page. Each page is rendered as a high-resolution image (so the layout looks identical to the original) with detected text overlaid as editable text boxes. Great for reusing a PDF in a presentation or annotating someone else's document on screen.
Why use this tool?
- Works offline after the first page load
- Lightweight page weight that loads quickly even on slow connections
- Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile in any modern browser
- Built on SheetJS / pdf.js / OOXML — the same libraries used by serious desktop tools
- Auto-detects encoding (UTF-8, Shift_JIS, GBK, Vietnamese) for CSV imports
How to use
- Upload your PDF file
- Click "Convert to PPT" button
- Preview the slides
- Download the .pptx file
Examples
Annotate a research paper live
Open a paper as PowerPoint and add arrows, callouts, and notes during a journal-club meeting without altering the original PDF.
Repurpose a report for a webinar
A 20-page client report becomes a 20-slide deck — present directly instead of screen-sharing a PDF reader.
Editable text overlay
Text boxes mirror PDF text positions, so you can correct a typo by editing the slide before showing it.
Common use cases
- Repurposing PDFs as presentation decks
- Live-annotating documents during meetings
- Building slide bases from existing PDF reports
- Migrating archived presentations stuck in PDF form
- Layering speaker notes onto a third-party PDF
Troubleshooting
- Slides look blurry on a 4K display
- Increase render DPI (default 150) to 300 in advanced options. The trade-off is a larger .pptx file size.
- Editable text overlay misaligned
- The PDF embeds a font PowerPoint doesn't have, so text reflows on the slide. Toggle "lock text positions" or convert to non-editable raster only.
- Aspect ratio looks wrong
- PDF pages are usually A4 / Letter (portrait); slides are 16:9 (landscape). Choose "match PDF" to use the same aspect, or "fit to slide" to add side bands.
